Away for the Day Coalition Kick-off
Through the coalition, participants can contribute to a coordinated effort to pass a statewide away for the day phone policy during the 2027 legislative session, stay informed on policy and implementation developments, learn from peers, build relationships, and share insights. This is for anyone (parent, student, educator, caring community member, agency partner) who cares about this issue and wants to get involved!

We’re hoping to get 100+ people to join us in Olympia for a day of advocacy and meeting with lawmakers on January 28 to push for an “Away for the Day” bill. Mark your calendar, put in your vacation request, arrange for pet care. We hope you can join us!
